Building energy efficiency has become one of the important goals of saving energy. Thus, with the increasing amount of architectural coatings, energy-saving buildings affect the socio-economic development has become a major issue globally.

Insulation technology past the building material is mainly used to achieve low thermal conductivity, the commonly used polystyrene board material thickness of 30 ~ 50mm, its insulation system structure is complex, large construction difficult. In contrast, the insulation coating is by building facades and top coated with a barrier layer, reflection, radiation and other effects of the coating to achieve the purpose of energy efficiency and insulation thin functional coatings. Now, the insulation coating has become the new material development and production of the new hot spot.Currently made great progress in one aspect is the use of highly reflective hollow glass microspheres preparation of new insulation coatings. Coatings for 250 ~ 2500nm wavelength within the range of the strongest sunlight reflectivity, insulation temperature up to 13 ℃.
